Processor Connector
The client, a renowned provider of Payment Switch Framework has developed a Payment Switch Framework, which comprises an Authorization suite and Settlement suite. RS was engaged to develop plug-ins for the client’s Java framework to support various Acquirers/Processors. During the authorization process, the switch accepts requests from various entry points, e.g., POS Terminal, e-Commerce, MOTO, Fuel Pumps, wireless, etc., in the switch’s proprietary message format. RS had to build Connectors to format the message according to the target Processors/Acquirer banks. To achieve this, the connectors were developed as plug-ins to the switch, which transforms the request message into Authorizer-specified request format and the response message to the proprietary message format.
Virtual Terminal & Internet Payment Gateway
The project involved the full-lifecycle development of the Virtual Terminal and E-Commerce Payment Gateway with minimum downtime of the application and high-performance criteria to process transaction for a US-based leading processor of payment cards. RS developed a flexible and configurable transaction adapter capable of generating request message dynamically for different payment modes and transactions as per specification of the processing network, implemented a high-performance queue for sequential processing of host-based transactions, developed XML and ASCII interfaces for e-commerce integration and created consumer-friendly and configurable response pages.
Application testing for transaction processing
The project involved comprehensive QA and testing services for business-critical applications in a high-availability and high-performance payment-processing switch for a wholly owned subsidiary of one of the leading Payment Card Associations in the world. Working on Managed Services Operation execution model for more than four years, the testing activities covered a broad range of functionality, like online transaction switching, transaction services, advanced risk management & fraud detection.

The client has implemented almost real-time risk scoring and prediction application so that the transaction authorization can take place based on the data (score) provided by this application. This protects the issuer, the merchant and the cardholder from the probable risk associated with the electronic payment transaction.
