Q1. Who are the key target audiences for the company?

Q2. Who are the key influencers for the company?
The rapid growth in the electronic payments space across all the segments is forcing our target customers to constantly rethink their offerings strategy, shortening their time to market, and creating the need for a full service provider that can address the above pain points in an integrated manner. RS is already fine tuning its business model to fulfil this need.
Q3. Where is RS located and how many people work at RS?
RS Software’s offices are located in the US, UK and India, employing over 700 professionals to deliver high quality solutions for Payment networks, Processors, Acquires, Issuers, and other Payment Industry companies.
Q4. What are the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives that you have been associated with?
RS was one of the first companies in Kolkata to set up offshore operations in the Electronic Complex at Salt Lake. RS has played a major role in generating employment for the cream of engineering and higher science students who joined the industry in the early years of IT. RS has always provided opportunities for summer training to budding engineering students in their final semesters. The company has also distributed old PCs to several charitable organisations from time to time and its employees have donated generously to the Prime Minister’s national fund on account of earthquake and Tsunami. The RS Club regularly organizes donation of old garments to destitute children through recognized NGOs. RS also sponsors educational programmes run by Charitable Institutions.
Q5. What are the corporate governance initiatives, such as reconstitution of the board, the company has taken so far or is planning to take and when?
The company has from time to time formed different Committees, has proportionate Independent Directors on the Board, and has regular Committee Meetings with not more than 4 months gap in between the meetings. Publishes the Audited Financial Results every quarter.

The Board Members are from different disciplines. Disclosures in the Accounts are being updated from time to time as per the changes made in the Accounting Policies & Standard Accounting Practices and the same are being certified by the Auditors.
Q6. What is the source of capital?

Q7. Do we get only software / other service income which is contract specific (or) do we also have Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) built around certain re-usable components, tools and software products from where we could earn recurring licensing income?
RS Software has different projects ranging from development to migration, maintenance etc. We have our business projections based on our robust sales organizations' interactions with the end clients. There are dedicated client portfolios that we manage which are contract specific. We do deploy a lot of reusable components and tools, but we are yet to enter the IPR market. Our long term business projections however take into account the strong domain expertise built over the last 18 years in the area of payment systems and thus plans strong revenue projections from IPR based tools and frameworks.
