Awards are given to an employee in recognition of length of service, quality of work performance, or major achievement of results within the scope of one’s role leading to tangible benefits to the team or the organization as a whole. Awards are also given to a group if the group as a whole demonstrates excellence in areas that contribute to effective functioning or brand of the organization.
